K.K Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research was established in 1984 at Bhausahebnagar, Teh-Niphad. Rather the institute was shifted in September 1986 to Nasik City. The land was donated by Shri. Kakusheth Udesi of Hirabai Haridas Charitable Trust, Mumbai. The building area of the institute is 32,199 sq.m and The institute is one of the largest buildings in the city. K.K Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and the Government of Maharastra. The institute provides Bachelor's Degree from the University of Pune. The institute provides Courses which are Eight disciplines Civil, Computer, Mechanical, Production, Electrical & Telecommunication, Electrical, Information Technology, Chemical, and Electronics and also Provide Six Post Graduate Studies in Production, Electrical ( 2 Specialization), Civil Engineering, MCA, and MBA. The institute campus is so excellent and so much Grassy. The institute is fully furnished and developed. Under-campus facilities are a bank, Canteen, Counselling, Exam Section, Hostel and Mess, Medical, Sports and gymnasium. Institute also provide a bus facility.

ISTE students’ chapter of K.K. Wagh Institute of engineering education and research, Nasik is one of the most active and popular student chapter in the college. This chapter aims at overall development of a student in both technical and non technical areas. It conducts variety of seminars, workshops and competition for students. The major two events conducted are Vijigisha and Master Students program. Vijigisha is a state level elocution competition and Master students program is the one day program conducted with a particular theme for overall development of students. In addition to this, other seminars are organized by ISTE students’ chapter. As a result of all these efforts, this chapter awarded as “BEST STUDENTS CHAPTER (Maharashtra & Goa Section) for year 2013
